Katarina witt was born the 3rd of December in Staaken East Germany. She's always seeking new opportunities and challenges. In the process she's gained expertise in a myriad of areas such as figure skating, production, performance, presentation, and writing. After the 1988 World Championships Katarina Witt ends her successful amateur career at present. The following 3 years she headlines along with Brian Boitano (World Champion, Calgary Olympic Champion) her first US and Canadian professional tours. The show "Witt and Boitano Skating" is so successful that Madison Square Garden in New York is completely sold out an ice skating performance on the first occasion in ten years. 1993-94 saw her return to amateur sport and into the spotlight to compete in her third appearance as a participant in the Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 1994. After traveling across the US for 10 years as the guest star in "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in international professional events. As a producer with her company WITT, she is responsible for numerous international ice-based show concepts that are made, headlined, and then produced. This company has been a pioneer in the skate production field, producing programs as "Divas of Ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy Stars and Winter Magic", for US TV and German TV.
